This policy explains what personal data Mielikkix AS collects through this website (mielikkix.no), why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Our AI products (mielikkix.ai, the app.mielikkix.ai dashboard and our AI agents) are covered by a separate policy at mielikkix.ai/privacy.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Mielikkix AS, Norway. Contact for all privacy questions: post@mielikkix.no.
Mielikkix AS is currently being registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises (Brønnøysundregistrene). Our organisation number and registered address will be added here as soon as the registration is complete.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not sell personal data.
3. The AI chatbot on this website
The chat bubble on this website is the Mielikkix chatbot. It is an AI system, not a person. Your messages are sent to our own Mielikkix platform (api.mielikkix.ai), which uses external large language model providers to generate replies. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you (GDPR art. 22). We do not use your chat messages to train AI models.
4. Who we share data with
Each service provider receives only what it needs for its task:
- Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) receives demo-form submissions and forwards them to our inbox.
- Hostinger hosts this website and its server logs.
- The Mielikkix platform and its AI providers process chatbot conversations. The current list is on mielikkix.ai/subprocessors.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (for example Formspree and our AI providers) are based in the USA. When personal data is transferred there, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
6. How long we keep data
- Demo requests and emails: 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Chatbot conversations: deleted automatically according to the retention setting on our Mielikkix account, and never kept for more than 365 days.
- Server logs: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
7. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only browser storage is a session key the chatbot writes when you open the chat. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Security
Traffic to this website and to our form and chat providers is encrypted with TLS. Access to demo requests and conversations is limited to the Mielikkix team. Read more under Data & Security.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict processing;
- data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
Email post@mielikkix.no to use any of these rights. We answer within one month, and may ask you to verify your identity first. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
10. Children
This website and our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
11. Changes
We will update this policy when our website, services or the law change. The date and version at the top show the current version.
